I was traveling to visit family in Salem July 1, 2023. While traveling to Salem, my diesel pickup developed some problems. I was pulling my fifth wheel, and needed to get back to southern Mississippi for work. All the "diesel" shops told me they were booked out about 2 months. I had my wife, son, and dog in the fifth wheel, and was supposed to be home to work Wednesday, July 5. While that was not going to happen, Yardley Automotive agreed to look at my truck on Wednesday July 5, 2023, and diagnose the problems, then develop a plan to fix it. Yardley Automotive had my truck back to me on the evening of Thursday, July 6, 2023. The truck ran better coming home than it had run in months. I'm sure Kevin Yardley spent more time working on my truck than I was billed for. The price was definitely more than fair. I appreciate Kevin Yardley's willingness to bump a strangers vehicle ahead of those who are probably regular customers in order to help me get back on the road. I enjoyed getting to visit with him for several minutes when I picked up my truck. While I hope and pray I never have problems on the road again, it is nice to know of an honest mechanic that I can trust if I should need his services again.
