I would give them 0 stars for being crooks. Car broke down on the interstate on the way to my family reunion, with my family in the car. I had it towed to Yardley for the repair. They done a tune up on my vehicle and up charged me for the parts. They charged me $40.00 per spark plug. They clearly took advantage of the situation. Said he has employees to pay. Drove 300 miles back the following weekend to pick up my car, and made arrangements to meet at the shop at 10AM, but they did not show up until noon. Made my brother late for work. Also they claimed the power was off at the shop, and couldn't print me a receipt, but wanted me to pay. Charged me over $1000.00 dollars. Got half way home and the check engine light came on. Shameful that they would take advantage of someone caught in a stressful situation.
Hello Jeff, We’re sorry to hear you felt disappointed with your recent visit, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few things. Your vehicle originally came in for a no-start issue, which we diagnosed as a burnt ignition coil that had blown the ignition coil fuse. We provided you with a detailed estimate, which you approved, for installing a new ignition coil, spark plugs, and boots. During our diagnostic process, we also found catalytic converter codes stored in the system. Those codes were not addressed at the time of repair, and they will retrigger the check engine light once the vehicle completes its self-tests, even after being cleared. That’s a normal function of the vehicle’s monitoring system and not related to the repairs we performed. Regarding pricing, like all professional repair facilities, we apply a markup on parts. This is an industry-standard practice that helps cover part warranties, shop stability, and the skilled technicians who perform quality repairs. It ensures we can stand behind every part and service we provide. It’s also important to mention that we gave you a $200 discount on your repairs — which more than covered the cost of the spark plugs you mentioned. We always aim to be fair, transparent, and honest, and our many positive reviews reflect how we consistently go above and beyond for our customers. We also want to point out that we allowed you to take your vehicle before payment was processed due to a power outage that day. You provided your card information, and we ran the payment the following Monday as agreed — a gesture of trust and good faith on our part. We also emailed you your invoice and spoke with you several times afterward, and at that time no issues or concerns were mentioned in the days following the repair. It’s important to clarify that this visit occurred on June 12th, 2025, and we have not heard from you since that date regarding any concerns. We always stand by our work, and if any issue had come up, we would have been more than willing to address it promptly. You’re absolutely correct that we have employees to pay — and we’re proud of that. They’re the people who work hard every day to diagnose, repair, and get vehicles safely back on the road. Lastly, we do own the mistake of arriving late; that was an honest error on our part and not reflective of how we normally operate. It’s also worth noting that the pickup was scheduled on a Saturday to make things more convenient for you — something we were happy to do to accommodate your schedule. We truly appreciate your feedback.
